    Methylcobalamin Injections?

I was taking injections for about 12-18 months back in 2019-20. Yes, Hopewell is in New Jersey and that's where I drove to get them. Like every other drug, it's difficult to judge its efficacy. I was also taking riluzole at the time and ibudilast from overseas. I had no adverse reactions or side...

    Any writers out there?

I've been writing the past couple of years, but recently my arms, hands, and fingers are fading. I use Voice Assist on my Mac computer with writing software, but I always have to go back to correct misunderstandings. These days I've started using a stylus between my teeth to hunt and peck. Does...

    The elusive external male catheter

I recently spent a few days in the hospital and they say every cloud has a silver lining. The PrimoFit external catheter must've been mine. It's more of an envelope than a condom catheter and it's effectiveness lies in the suction created by a pump. However, after spending two days looking for...

How an iPhone Can Become the Ultimate Communication Tool

So I was fortunate enough to be invited to join this zoom call hosted by CCALS: How an iPhone Can Become the Ultimate Communication Tool Tom Meadows lost a close friend to ALS, and he's working on distributing these kits that help people utilize iPhones to their optimum ability. The kits are...

    Message banking

I used Acapela through Team Gleason back in the day. Fortunately, I haven't needed to access it yet. Check out vocabledotapp. I heard some good things about that app

    Adaptive clothing suggestions?

It took me a while to find them because I was looking for Velcro ones. Eventually, Amazon started carrying them. There's a couple of different styles. That's also where I get towel wraps, also Velcro.

    Adaptive clothing suggestions?

I remember the Tommy Hilfiger clothing can get pretty pricey. A friend turned me on to wareologiedotcom. They sell magnetic button adapters. I was pleased with those. Everybody's different, but these days I don't get out much and have few visitors. I'm strictly a towel wrap guy and a kilt...

    Access Unlimited Multi-lift - feedback?

I know it's not much help now, but I just ordered one [easy base and the multi-lift] a few weeks ago. It's not supposed to get here till the end of August, but they say things are running smoothly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the beginning of the month. I'll be sure and post my thoughts.

    Lookin for Access Unlimited Multi-Lift

I'm interested in the Access Unlimited easy base/multi lift system. As expensive as it is, it's the turnaround timing that frustrates me. They told me it takes 8 to 10 weeks which is awfully long in 'ALS years'. Does anyone know of a competitor or a different company that offers a similar...

    Onset of respiratory symptoms

Hey Chester. Like you, my limbs were attacked first and breathing became an issue afterwards. I've been using the trilogy every night for the past two years or so. Its made a tremendous difference. In my case, it took some getting used to, but once I did, I slept soundly through the night. If...

Two days late and a couple hours short...

These days, they all blend together, so I am acting like it's Tunesday... And happy hour has arrived. What good are some cold beers without some good music? Attached is a link to a song by Jason Becker. I believe I've mentioned him before, but this song just came on my Spotify playlist, so I...
