Hi, My dad was diagnosed with bulbar ALS in April 2011, what a fast down hill battle it has been. A strong man who never took meds is now struggling with being comfortable to just breathe, he wears his bipap 24/7. He has tried morphine to relax his breathing but he said it made him hurt in his arms and stomach, the ativan made him feel "weird". Now he has had weird dreams the last 2 days seeing things that aren't really happening, he says he knows it is a dream but he says it also seems so real it scared him. Has anyone else experienced this, it worried me that his time is coming, I pray for all those who suffer with this horrible disease.
