  • Hello, dropping by to ask a question: do you know if flying affects breathing due to the altitude? Of course it is the weekend and cant call my doc. Im flying to Fresno tomorrow to see if I can get into the Dex Drug Trial there. If you have flown and if your breathing was affected, could you let me know? I guess Im a bit nervous.

WOW is that a real live gorrila? cool

    thanks
The one you get when you first sign on to the forum. It"s been there since April. I guess it"s just there as a sample.
I wonder if the Mayo article could be changed soon. It's so negative to the hospital and not everyone has a bad experience there. Needless to say, Mayo Hospital is right in my back yard. Perhaps a more upbeat story would be good.
Going to see Pearl Jam on the 3rd. Figured you'd appreciate this.
Hope youre well. I sure am not.
    Lots of love
Richard, thanks for explaining what the moderators go through to approve a post and thanks for all of your hard work! It is appreciated!
Thank-you. I really appreciate it. These first few days feel like a sad time. Best of luck to you and your family.
Funny...You don't have any sisters, do you? Other than your adorable daughter and (I'm sure) sweet wife, you should be aware--I'm training Phil to come to grips with this truth--girls fight dirty! Boys are much easier--more straightforward with each other. But Richard, I am glad you've been able to remain oblivious--it speaks well of Richelle.

I wouldn't want to run anything outside of "The Beast", and am clueless why anyone would want to try and run this country (U.S.) at this point.
Wow! Sounds like you really have things under control. I am amazed at your capabilities. There is no way I can type a letter as lengthily as yours with my pencil eraser. I plan to look into the Vivik system upon your suggestion because the computer is a lifeline for me. You have given me a lot of hope and I truly appreciate it. We are about to start with PT & OT this month. To date we have been flying solo and my husband is beginning to wear out taking care of me. The forum is very helpful and informative. Thank you again very much. I wish you a beautiful day.
My arms and hands are the first to weaken along with extreme imbalance. Am I to expect two dead fish like you have? I was a fisherman and the only dead fish I wanted were either in the cooler or in the frying pan.
What activities remain for you to occupy your time without the use of your hands? How are you able to use the computer? Please let me know what to expect and how you are handling it.
Richard, I find you funny beyond words--and your post on women and TV commercials was great--except that you forgot to mention the commercials always make women or children "wise" but men are stupid...
Hey now... that was a cheap shot! LOL... but what can I do?
Hope the day finds you well!
Hello Richard, I read your interview in the Toronto Star and found it very helpful and encouraging. I am attempting to purchase ModelTalker for my brother who was recently diagnosed with ALS however I am having diffculty getting in touch with Agora-Net. Can you please help point me in the right direction?

    Thank you.
Richard- just wanted to drop in and tell you that I absolutely LOVE your sense of humor! Its one of my most favorite things in the world when someone is funny...
Hope your day is going well for you and youre loving the heck out of that sweet little girl youve got!
