Hi Steve, I was in Llangollen for a couple of days only. I have not yet tracked down any relatives in Wales but I know that some of my ancestors came from Swansea and Cardiff areas - or al least left for the Americas from there.

I am not sure how to hide locations; but I have to ask...why would anyone be upset that you live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet? I was only lucky enought to visit Wales for 3 days but they are some of my most cherished memories.

Hi, I was just tryting to update my profile to change it from "I have been diagnosed with ALS" to "I am in the process of being diagnosed with ALS" and "I am interested in ALS" and I received an error both times asking for the diagnosis date. Not a big bug... Pythia

First my GP said neuropathy; then go to a chiropracter who made the headaches and tingling worse; after a year of wrangling with the insurance company have x-rays and MRIs...the radiologist thinks its disk compression - off to the neurosurgeon; well no he says, it looks muscular in nature...

Strong is not listed as an ALS clinic or center on the alsa.org web site but they have a wonderful reputation. I want to start researching the current research on ALS; does anyone know of a good place to start? Thanks, Pythia
