Thanks for all the good words. I'll update you'all later, but if I was litigious I'd sue the "doctors" Loma Linda for their apparent incompetence.

Saw a local GI doctor today who will do my PEG a week from tomorrow! No general anesthetic for me!

This is Diane, Pat's wife writing. The doctor said the reason he didn't do the vital lung test was because Pat showed no signs of respiratory distress. When we expressed interest in a peg, that is when he had Pat do the test, and referred us to a gastro dr. at Loma Linda. That doctor...

The doctor at Loma Linda did not do lung tests often enough, now I'm below 25%. And I don't want a trache, so hospice has been called.
