I’m a somewhat geeky computer and networking professional. I like gaming. When physically able, I liked to bicycle and sail. I was diagnosed this past August 2023 with Bulbar-onset ALS. i’ve accepted my fate. I’m making the most out of the time I have. And, trying my very best to keep things ‘normal’ (I’m still gainfully employed, and do many things I used to do.) A blessing of Bulbar-onset ALS is that it does not paralyze you first before killing you. However, the trade off is that you don’t get a long of a life-expectancy as those with limb-onset. I suppose that is just one of my ways of accepting my fate.
