Hi! Sorry about hubby's DX. So glad you found the forums! You'll find a number of members on here who have dealt with the VA and can give you tips on what to do to expedite matters. The care received seems to vary a good bit depending on the staff but from what I've heard they do provide the best equipment. Good luck!
