I think switching to a blended diet will help. I can take the formula alright but I have a cast iron stomach.

Neudexta helped me a lot. Just half the dosage works for me and the are doing a study since they think it helps bulbar PALS with speech, swallowing and breathing.

There is some program you can use to bank you voice so later on it can do all the talking for you. I am not sure what it is since my voice was first to go. I make life confusing. I have a laptop running windows and I use Next Up talker on it, an iPad using Speak It, and android smartphone I use...

I don't have much to add, but in the beginning I thought it would be best for my wife not to have to go through this out of love for her. Now we have grown much closer due to fighting the monster.

Pacer since June 2013. I agree with TMASTERS. I do use Press and Seal but we don't worry about it getting wet. I even went swimming uncovered. Just be sure to dry it out before powering it up.

I am too late. They did test my body for copper when ruling out other causes for my illness instead of ALS.

I am pacing full time now and think it is a big help. Its best to go for it as soon as you can. Studies show it extends your life and there is a narrow window to where insurance covers it.
