Hey John, so far I still can walk talk eat and breath on my own, I have weakness mostly in my hands (fingers) and in my legs walking downstairs. Have you been meeting Pals for the past 17 years?

Hey John, what about your current conditions? are you still able to walk? By the way Denise I am 29 and have had ALS for 3 years now, so maybe telling your son about people his age living with the disease could be a first step. 'He is not alone in this'

hmmmmmmm, you know sometimes when I am shaving or trimming using my right hand (the weakest one) I feel a kind of very quick and painful electric-shots just like the 'electromyogram' so I change the position then it goes away.

Hey Sironside, So far, Digital photography is working for me, it is like hunting. So where ever I am I look from a different perspective to things around me and take loads of photos then I go back and download them to my computer then chose some and upload them online.

So far I am dealing with the situation the same as Sharonca and Liz. But I have also noticed that lots of people hesitate to ask to avoid disturbing so I try to be more open about the situation. I guess lots of people do care but simply they don't know how to deal with it.

Hey RJG, There is an option (shortcut) to zoom in and out the page you are visiting, So far for Macintosh it is ' apple +' for zoom in and 'apple -' for zoom out. I am not sure for the PC but it should be 'Alt +' and 'Alt minus' Take care Omar
