I'm good. It's you I worry about. You're not getting the care you obviously need! Can't your daughter take you to your appointments Patty? Something's got to be done for you. Maybe you should accept the social worker's offer of a home visit Dear. She can put some things in motion. Know what I mean? It won't just stop with her home visit. She knows others that can help you out once she sees what you might need. Consider it Patty Pie!!

Have you contacted ALSA to see if there's anything they can do to help you? I don't know if you have to have a firm ALS diagnosis for them to be able to help or not. Want me to find out for you Sweets?

We went to an ALS Group Meeting today and it was very informative. Someone was there with a Vest that causes the mucus to dislodge in your lungs and brings it up for easy suction. I'm not having a problem yet but tried it. It felt kind of good! There was a man there that uses a CoughAssist that tried it and he wasn't impressed with the Vest. I dunno. He wasn't impressed with the CoughAssist either. His wife says he's just stubborn. I hope you're haveing a good day today! Big Hugs to you my Dear!!! xoxoxoxo!!!!

I know the feeling with the ipad. Thats what I use. It does the predictive spelling so quickly that is near on impossible to see it when it replaces a word. Sometimes if I am not careful it ends up sounding like rubbish.
Do you know there is a new anticoagulant on the market that is as effective as warfarin and does not require blood tests? I am going to try and get my mum on to it. The constant INR checks are such a pain for her.

No , not a b, she is n d? Puzzle huh. Yes 2 weeks to go. This time in 2 weeks I will be in Exeter with my eldest daughter and her husband. Can't wait, but there's been so much to organize with trial cover. I have no patient visits due, but if a relapse occurs, the patients have to be seen within 72 hours of first symptom, assessed by a neurologist ( so needed to get cover for Hubby as well) bloods etc done, and it could happen anytime of course.
I also get a bit nervous leaving home. It's 26 hours flying time, so exhausting. I have lost so much fat and muscle off my butt that I am very uncomfortable sitting for more than an hour or 2. Will not be fun.

Well, I appreciate ya. What's his issue with your condition anyway? It's good that you found someplace else already. Onward and upward! There are lots of good people out there for sure. And lots of jerks too (ie your office landlord). Where you live can't make you move but there are some complexes that have units set up for the disabled. You may want to talk to them about that.
Things are good with me! It's getting hot out there and should stay that way for a month give or take. Brad is great.

I just read about your landlord. That is illegal under the ADA -- you should seek legal advice immediately. And keep records of all contact, and any witnesses. Sorry about your troubles.
