Di, this is what I just sent in a reply to Marta, thought it might help you...

"I'm not on Medicare yet, this is the regular MassHealth insurance through our state... you know the plan that Obama based his healthcare plan on, that went through when Romney was our governor... It took hubby calling our state rep to get it expedited, as it took 3 months to get, but they changed my plan from one category to the disabled category which gives me more benefits. I'd probably still be waiting if the girl from the state rep's office wasn't talking directly to the MassHealth office. I'm going to post this over at Di's visitor page, maybe her rep can get involved too. It does make a difference sometimes!"

So call your state rep, or better yet, have your son call them... seems it takes a male voice sometimes to be taken seriously!

What works for me is Hagendass dark chocolate vanilla bars...one has 270 calories and is delicious! But I have food stamps so I can afford them. Maybe you can ask for them from your kids/grandkids.
