Can I suggest it might be great if you were to start your own thread under past caregivers, and tell us your story of being a CALS and a bit about you?
I know you did a brief introduction, but it didn't really tell us much.
As a former CALS - my Chris was set free in April this year - I would value getting to know you through your own thread and think it is more valuable for everyone to get to know you.
ps. particularly the 'Do I have threads', it's best not to answer them a week or so after no one has been posting in a thread. We work hard to kindly turn away the health anxiety people who come, and so posting again after a thread has stopped is sadly likely to get them posting back again.
