Oh, yes.:Change your status. See you around.
    Hello,

I stated noticing slurred speech in September. It seemed I had some minor weakness in my left hand. In October, I stated noticing fasiculations in my left arm, mostly in my shoulder and biceps. By December, my fasiculations became constant in my whole left arm/hand and starting across my shoulder blades and in my face (mostly my left side). I have lost lateral movement of my left index finger and can no longer do tasks like squeeze toothpaste with my left hand. My children are now commenting, "you always slurr your words, daddy". Two days ago, I received cramping in my right ring finger. What a gift! I also have had a consistent change in my ability to swallow food or my saliva.

I have seen my family doctor, ER doctor, Neurologist. I have had a CAT scan, every blood test you can imagine, chest x-ray, MRI, EMG, EKG. To date, not one physician has given me a diagnosis.

ALS seems to me the likely cause of my symptoms. Have others had a similar situation?
