  • Thank you Missy - I can see this will be a work in progress just like most ALS related things!

    Missy,

Can you share with me the process for the wheelchair accessible van from the VA? It seems Tom will finally qualify for one even though he already has the bells and whistles wheelchair from the VA we have not been able to get the van. They wanted to give him a lift for his truck and he doesn't want one. It is a terrible solution for a guy with dominant upper body involvement. Looks like the van may be a good ahead. Any info you can give is greatly appreciated. You can also PM me or email me at [email protected] if that is preferred.

    Thank you for your help,

    Mary
I think, for now, virtual teaching will be good. My biggest concern is for Tom and I to be able to spend precious time together. I have adjusted to the idea of leaving the classroom. It is so difficult to be in the classroom and take care of Tom, doctor appointments, and the other stuff he struggles to do. It's time and I am as ready or as anyone can be ready.

You are such a godsend on this forum Missy to me and so many others. It is a challenge to move forward after losing your soulmate. I think of you often.
    Hi Missy!

Thank you for stopping to say hello! I just gave notice at work. I will stop teaching in the classroom on the last day of this school year. I have begun working for North Carolina's Virtual Public Schools so that's good. It means I can work from home.

    How are you?
Dear Miss, Can you please email me regarding the cluster you suspect in Memphis?

Please let me know if you have any others....I normally do Corporate returns, but I know a thing or two about individuals.

    Have a great day!
Hi there! I just answered your Rollover question on one of the forums, but it occured to me that you may not see it, so here it is!

Yes, Ma'am, Missy.......to show an IRA rollover, just put the full amount of the rollover on line 15a of your Form 1040 (or 11a on the 1040A, whichever you're filing). On 15b (or 11b) you can put a $0, if you want, or actually print the word "ROLLOVER."

That's all there is to it!
I know things aaaare probably ruff right now for you, so I hope that soon you will have a smile on your face..
Just saying hello. We seem to think alike on many issues here. I know you must miss your husband so much as I do. It seems to get more and more difficult all the time. Thinking of you. Yasmin
