MaryPat, it is for everyone....not just your profile. David doesn't have any of the posts count toward your member status or any 'likes' in the off-topic threads either. We are trying to get him to change his mind about keeping the 'likes' in every forum. However, with Al apparently not doing very well, and Richard unable to moderate for some reason in the new threads that are off topic, David is left to much of the moderation details. Still working out many of the kinks...so hopefully 'likes' will be back soon

No problem, I didn't take it in any bad way at all. I brought up the sensory issue when I started posting here and was slammed by a moderator as being wrong. I backed it up privately in the end and was forgiven. It's more that people come here with a huge amount of disconnected symptoms bearing no resemblance to AL's at all, so you realize you have to word things carefully or they self destruct.
I hate saying no sensory issues in ALS, as I know it can be in the picture for some, but have realize I have to bite my tongue . Welcome to our party.
