Hi mare! Just wanted to thank you again for all the great advice you gave me about my husbands ALS clinic appt. You were spot on my friend! I took you advice and packed sandwiches for lunch and let me tell you, that saved the day!!! Thank you!!

Good Morning Mary Ann. I can see that we're all going to have these nicknames for a looong time. My wife Beth phoned about the power chair yesterday and we are going to have a look at it on Friday. So even though I am nowhere near needing it yet I won't have to worry about shelling out a bunch of money when the time comes. For when we get off the island!

Mare ... thanks so much for asking !! He is still very, very weak, and pretty much bed-ridden. He will have the stents put it around his kidneys on July13. I am hoping this will give him some strength with which to keep on fighting. I am an optomist ... but hate the endless waiting. I want them to fix him now!!

Thanks, I got a new computer with a built in camera so I thought that I would use it. And you're right it is nice to see what people look like. My problem is trying to smile, my mouth doesn't work so my smile seems to be more of a sneer. Oh well, such is life.

LOL, I just read your comments about my kids. You don't know how much I'd like for them to get married! My younger son is actually separated, soon to be divorced. A few months ago I made the mistake of sniffing the baby lotion while shopping at the local supermarket, it brought back so many memories, and I proceeded to call my daughter, and ask her if she was serious about the guy she was seeing, and if not, she needed to move on because I wanted a grandbaby to rock (yes, that was me, weeping on my cellphone in the baby aisle!) blaming it on emotional lability!

Absolutely! I actually was thinking the same thing, well, not the geographic part LOL.
