    What my parents taught me

Made me laugh, made me sad - just a little too close to my experience! Loved the recent photos by the way. Have same neurological symptoms as in previous year(s), but they wax and wane, still in AF, but otherwise in really good shape!

    In the Interest Of Harmony

"Approve" or "disapprove" implies some kind of moral judgment; this is divisive and dangerous, encouraging cliques and witch-hunts. A much better alternative, in my view, is to include a "Dislike" button next to the "Like" button

Not overly impressed by responses. Symptoms were as I experienced them, nothing was made up or designed to waste your time. I am very grtaeful to everyone who helped me cope with the previous weeks and with the weeks to come. Saw neuro today, tentative diagnosis was peripheral neuropathy of...

Is extreme muscle fatigue a sign of muscle weakness

Sorry to confuse Simvastatin (anti cholesterol) and Omeprazol (proton pump inhibitor). I came off the Simvastatin because suggested by GP to come off it for a week to 10 days to see if it made any difference. It did not so at lalest visit GP said stary taking it again, GP has ruled out...

    Simply Fed UP

Sounds really crapy Notme. I thought Health Service in UK was poor, but your situation shows up value of our National Health Service, where you would at least receive some treatment irrespective of private health insurance. Is extreme muscle fatigue a sign of muscle weakness

Thanks notme. I came off Omeprazol because I was under he illusion that being on CPAP for sleep apnea would lessen the GERD and hence lessen the need for a proton-pump inhibitor (that was opinion of the CPAP man). However have now gone back on the ppi at recommendation of GP. (sorry not to...

Is extreme muscle fatigue a sign of muscle weakness

Thanks Olly. One problem with not knowing, is that previous symptoms may come back to mind, that you think are unrelated. Not a case of not being open about symptoms or deliberately withholding information or setting false trails trfogey but just thinking it was irrelevant, I have had bowel...

Is extreme muscle fatigue a sign of muscle weakness

Wife visited her GP this morning, she has similar symptoms to be initial symptoms. She was told this morning that symptoms could not be explained by Carpal Tunnel, that they might be due to a starting neuropathy and that he would monitor her condition for next three / four months. Blood tests...

Is extreme muscle fatigue a sign of muscle weakness

HI Olly is correct. I asked for vitamin B12 blood test doctor did not tell me about the other test. Doctor did not ask for EMG to be undertaken same appointment as NC. Doctors not forthcoming about possibilities .. answer is wait for the neuro, every time I ask anything. Reflex test results not...

Is extreme muscle fatigue a sign of muscle weakness

Thanks for replies. Blood glucose levels are very well controlled using Metformin, GP says no evidence of diabetic neuropathy. I stopped taking Simvastatin over 5 weeks ago and GP said statins not likely to be source of symptoms. Leg symptoms began on 14 June with extensive tingling in both...
