My husband is an active Air Force Reservist, currently in the diagnostic process. We are actually being referred to the VA in DC because our neurologists here aren't ready to give an official ALS diagnosis. They want him to see one of the specialists doing work specifically with vets as it relates to Gulf War Syndrome and possible toxic exposure (my husband's barracks were less than a mile from burn pit)...

Also, any suggestions on who/how to contact a specialist within the system?
