I took Prozac when I was pregnant. I've had clinical depression my whole life. I'm 56 years old now. I reduced the dose to 20 mg during my pregnancy. I was 39 when I got pregnant. The psychiatrist said it would not harm my baby. I'm not so sure now.

Thank you thank you thank you. I thought a neurologist was the top specialist. I didn't know there are neurologist specialists. This doctor has to submit Sam's information to the Mayo Clinic, then they will schedule an appointment, after they determine when they can see him.

Thanks to both of you for replying. Your post gives me a tiny bit of hope. But I know deep down that this is something horribly serious. And teenagers do get ALS. The neurologist said his youngest patient was 20 years old.
