Kristin ... I don't know why you are so concerned about your tongue. You've been told by doctors a lot smarter than either of us that your tongue is normal.
But here goes again ... atrophy comes last. First you get the weakness, in my case slurred speech and swallowing difficulties. Then you get fasics, which I did not notice until a doctor pointed it out to me. Then, you get some atrophy, which I did not notice till it was pointed out to me.
There are indents and crevices all over my tongue.

I hope everything goes well with you, but the only abnormal thing about your tongue seems to be your obsession with it. Next time you're at the doctors, ask him again to examine your tongue.
