KissJ - I'm from McKeesport and am facing a possible ALS diagnosis though hoping it is something else. My dr is Rana at AGH who runs ALS clinic though I will look elsewhere for a 2nd/3rd opinion.
This is great! Guess what? I am going to try for the same trial in Fresno ca where I have relatives. I will have to catch low air fares everyother month to do this. What was his breath test scores? I hope I can pass them. Well at least I know I tried to preserve the life God gave me.....((hugs))
My husband goes for evaluation tomorrow: 9/23/11 for the Dexpramipexole trail....Please, pray!! There is such hope for PALS. We had an article in our local newpaper today. My mother and I cried when we read it. Hopeful!!!
yes! they truely are angels....thanks for sharing about them on fb. they do so much for families who dont have the means to go on a special vacation together and many other practical helps too.
How are you doing? My husband was diagnosed last month. Still trying to wrap our minds around the diagnosis. Week 3 was the hardest so far. Living large and in the moment for now. Sending prayers your way.
ok, prayer request #1: I need to adapt and get used to sleeping with the bipap...I am very claustaphobic and have not been able to overcome this...so ask God of the grace I need to keep at it til its licked. Thanks!
I can tell you that sure sounds like Spasicity.. Which I have a ton of.. It is an UMN problem often and does not indicate Bulbar issues.. More of a Spasm..
