Oh Kirk, I have been thing of you and Lindsey the last couple of days, and here you are! How are you doing? You are still in my prayers and I thank you for praying for me.
I miss you not being here. I just got through posting My Utmost for His Highest on the “Christians here for support” thread. It is very good today.

Are your symptoms at a plateau? Last week I finally gave up standing to brush my teeth. My balance was becoming really bad. I knew it was coming, but I try to stretch my freedoms out until I feel I am a huge accident waiting to happen. I go as far as my allotted measure of faith takes me; beyond that, it is presumption, which is not good.

The hospice nurse brought me an Emesis bowl [small kidney shaped bowl]. I put my electric toothbrush, toothpaste and a wet facecloth in the bowl and head out to the dining room table. I drive up under the table and brush there.

I hope your day is a good one, brother. Are you still able to work?

Hi Kirk, just dropping by to say hi and that i am thinking about you. Thanks for your prayers, as i try to integrate this huge new piece in my emotional life. Though it is the greastest news in my entire life, it stil has an effect on me like stress: overwhelm. Im gonna lay low this weekend and take time for myself. How are things? I met a person who has professional recording studio and said I could use it for voice banking. How's that for an answer to prayer?!

Hi Kirk, Im back from the beach and I will pm you about my experience there. Id like to start a thread, which has probably been started before: about how pals have dealt with the gradual loss of their speech. I dont know how to start a thread. Since you just posted one I thought id ask you. Also, could you pm me and take me thru the steps you've been taking to deal with this. You can assume I know NOTHING, and you'd be right. Ive been noticing my speach slurring at night and Im coming out of denial about it. Thanks climbing buddy!
