Hi, I found this forum and joined... I don't feel so alone, I'm learning a lot on here. Feels like somewhat of a support group. My name is Kilea and I am 38yr old. Guy, is my husband of 15 years. He was diagnosed with ALS May of 2010. He had to quit his job working as a Electrician cause he was unable to work his left hand correctly. He now has NO use of his hands, legs... He can not hold himself up when I stand him, his neck is weak, His eating is poor. small bites and lots of chewing. He get tired, so he gets his calories through his Peg tube. His speech is very hard to understand. From what I can tell his lungs are in ok shape, but not perfect. Guy is 44 years old.
