    Hello. I am jjust starting to investigate a possible connection between als and long term jaw malalignment. I saw a previous case of bulbar atrophy that seemed to be due to jaw malalignment. Has your father had any bite issues?

    Welcome aboard Kelly. I'm so sorry to hear of your father's diagnosis. You'll find a wealth of information on a variety of topics relating to ALS by doing a search on the forums. If you've specific questions, just ask away. You'll find both PALS and CALS willing to share what they've learned in dealing with this monstrous disease.

    Hello, I am new to this forum. My dad was recently diagnosed with Bulbar onset ALS in Sept. He has since lost his ability to speak and eat. His disease seems to be progressing rapidly and our family is coping as best as possible. He is seen at UCSF and they recommended we look into support groups for families.
