Hi Katie, thank you so much. I have to get ready to visit the hubby in rehab right now, but I will definitely spend some time tonight trying to get some answers to questions that I had no idea were related to the ALS.
Hope this message gets to you.

Katie, I can't imagine your NOT linking his work with ALS. I hardly know what to say. It's so heartbreaking.
Hello, I have seen you all over the forum and i am intrigued by your wisdom.. I am The Daughter in law and caregiver to the loved one with ALS.. But I am not liked by my mother in law.. she will not go to counseling and they live with us at the moment.. its putting a major strain on my husband and family.. I just want to help and I do not understand why she does not like me.. She just says its because I am not her type.. :( I am ok with that but she is here and makes it very hard.. Please HELP ME.. I do not want to cry anymore
Katie, loved to see your humor yesterday with Glen. "Took vs. Take", I believe. Giving you a big hug, and oh, I admire you so much for giving of yourself here. You have such wisdom. Love, Ann

Dr North sends you his very best! Such a lovely man...thanks again for pointing me in his direction!
    Katie,
Could you give me Robyn's e-mail? I have her number and she has been very helpful when I called but the business card didn't have an email on it. As of right now I don't have any questions for her but I can see them coming in the immediate future. Mom's Sac neuro is pretty good about responding to emails but his answers are always the same "it is what it is". Mom has elected not to have a feeding tube or trach. She hasn't been referred to hospice yet but I can see that coming very soon. She's barely over 100 lbs and is not getting the calories in her she needs to survive. I just want her final weeks (cuz I'm not sure we have months) to be comfortable. Thanks! You are an angel!
Katie - Let me know when you get your "Pity Party Planner" business up and running! Don't know if I need help planning - I seem to do that just fine - but maybe I culd be your Dakota District Manager! :)
    Katie,
I'm so sorry for your loss. Glen was very lucky to have you and the love in your relationship shines through in every one of your posts.

Katie, I just wanted to tell you that even now, in such a difficult time, your insight and helpful comments here are so wise and thoughtful. I can't say how much I appreciate you. Love, Ann
Katie, I am so very sorry for your loss of Glen, and wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. You are in my prayers as you grieve. Hugs and love, Ann

Kaite Dahling! You want to join the pack for some howling? Come over to the Event thread and rsvp! love ya
I saw you write FTD and the bells started ringing. I am suspecting this for my Tom because of his increasingly strange demanding behaviour. Would you mind giving me some history (your story) on how you saw this develop and what brought about a confirmed dx? Is there any med offered to help offset the changes?
