  • Hi Karen, thought that i would drop you a line.
I sent you a friend request, cannot just have all USA and Canadian friends can you.
As others have said we are close here and support each other during our journey.
You will fine that from when you wake up in the morning (doing time conversions in my head here) to about 5pm your time is when many USA and Canadian members are on line. From then on most of then are sleeping. As Bluebear said check on the green ball for if they are online. Another way is to go to the quick link tab and down the botton there is a tab for who is online.

to your personal page and under contact info you will be able to do private messages. Then all of your conversations wont be public to the person you want to write to, and you will have a lot more room to write messages. Like this one is to long so I had to cut it in half and post to you twice. Now , typically we are not "live" but sometimes you can catch someone on like right now. Look up at your name. See that green ball that is lit? That means you are on right now. Otherwise it will be dark blue. We are all VERY close here. It is like a big family, and we all share in the dreaded rare MND diseases. How are you? How old are you? Now if you have like a specific question or need advice, you can start your own thread too..Let me know if you need to know how to do that too K!.............Hugs, and yes you can call me Kari!!!
Okay, my new down under friend! Right now, since you are new you can post from one person to another by doing the visitor messages like you have been doing. I dont know what go advanced means hahaha! When you go in and read some of the topics, (have you done that yet?) you can post a message to the thread if you have any thoughts or advice. You hit the reply button and then hit quick reply for your post to show. After you have about 20 posts, you will be able to come back here
Oh yes, I would love to be your friend hun! Oh wow, you know I know all about Perth. I am an Aussie specialist travel agent. I know your country better than my own, and I have never been there! Shhhhhh!
My clients all love Perth, and then go spend the day over at "Rottie" and then another day fly up to Monkey Mia.......So, please tell me more about yourself hun.......Hugs, Kari
Hi Karen, nice to know you. Can you tell me a bit about yourself like, what was your diagnosis and how has ALS/MND affected you? We are a big family here and I know others would like to hear your story too so please go to the " New? Introduce Yourself - Say Hello" thread and let us all know.
