I was diagnosed Aug. 2015 9 months after my right foot went cold in Dec. 2014. By Feb. 2015 I couldn't move my toes at all in the same right foot. It has been three years since my foot went cold. I have experienced drop foot that lead to my calve muscles sealed and atrophy bargain to set in. Within 2 years it had progressed on up to my hop and lower back, throughout this time I dealt with tremors, twitches and cramp of constant discomfort. Once atrophy sets in my joints in every part of my body hurt every day. I read allot the ALS doesn't cause pain, that is a false statement. When you nerves die to your muscles and leave you skeleton with no bowancey or cushion for sitting or laying. This leaves my body rigid and in pain constantly.
