  • Hi Judy,
How are things going for you? My dad was home a few weeks ago for a short visit. I had to stay away from him for a few days because I came down with a bad case of strep throat. Dad is currently staying with my sister in Dallas and is getting physical, occupational, and speech therapy three times away right at her home. He just started Ritulek yesterday since he's a veteran and they will cover it. He thought he'd at least give it a shot. He hopes to get into a clinical trial in October. I have been having a hard time with him being gone. I miss him so much. He is hoping to move back home in a few months but we'll have to see. We have a family friend who has agreed to be his full-time care-giver if he moves back home. Sending you a hug and I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Kim
    Judy,
Thanks for your prayers, as always! Had family up for the weekend, so no peace and quiet, but very nice.
    Hi Judy,
You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear you have a supportive and loving husband. Hope today has been a good day for you. Write anytime you feel able. Sending you a big hug, Kim
    Hi Judy,
My name is Kim. My father who is 77 was just recently diagnosed with ALS. He is currently in Dallas where my brother and sister live. He is going to see a ALS specialist on the 12th. I have been married to my husband since Sept '93 and we have three children. We have twins (boy/girl) who are 15 and then a 8 year old son. Do you use the drug Ritulek or have you been in any clinical trial? Hope your day is going well.
    Hugs to you, Kim
Judy, thanks for the dates for edges....hope you are doing well in the Lord. Love you

    Hey Judy,
Had a clinic visit yesterday. Setting me up with a portable sip and puff ventilator for the chair. Arms and hands very far gone. I have to be fed, but I can still eat and drink. So sorry about your arms, I know you love your morning tea. I still get my coffee, just through a straw. Strength for the day, my friend, I love you too
