  • I was dx with PLS (totally by accident) in 9/2009 after being dx with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy in 1/2005. I thought I could look it up on the internet to get more info. but all I can find are FACTS and how it differs from ALS! Guess I'll have to ask my dr. for more info.--xo V
Sorry I hijacked your post when I first started . . . this thing was kinda complicated at first. You have PLS?
Judy, The Baclofen doesn't seem to be doing much at this point but Peter has encouraged me to give it more time. I take 1 magnesium and 1 potassium supplement but they haven't done anything for the cramps. I suppose time will tell! Thanks for asking!

I'm glad to hear PLS has been a part of drawing you closer to the Lord but sorry to hear the damage it has done to your body. I'm not doing too bad. I notice my arms and legs getting fatigued sooner and lately, my left ankle has been touchy. Walking down steps draws more caution these days, too. Thanks for asking!
Hello Judith! We have PLS in common! It's not much fun. My wife's name is Judith but everyone calls her Judi.
