Hi Jenn, I looked for you on FB for a chat but you weren't on line. I'm still in NYC, having a great time although still missing my dad like crazy. Every restaurant I eat in, I always think about how much my dad loved eating out. I hope your dad is doing ok. I'm so sorry that your parents have to move. Thanks for the request, I THINK I added correctly; if not, please let me know and I'll try again. My computer is slow and not always reliable showing when/if it's completed a task, so sometimes I just have to guess. Haha?
I may be late in responding and am sorry if I am. I had an accident last week and have been resting and trying to sleep as much as possible to aid in the recovery process.
I live in AZ, USA and it's almost in the 90's ...our infamous boiling summer is nearly here..lol. Where are you from and how are you doing this week?

Jenn, I was glad to hear that you had a nice peaceful dinner with your parents and that your dad was in good spirits. It's all about making good memories and spending good times together.

Did Phoebe survive the storm? My Chico couldn't care less about thunder and lightening but snow removal trucks terrify him to no end! Luckily we don't have to worry about those for a while.

Being back at work is okay. However, yesterday I was falling asleep at my desk in the afternoon and today was a little better. I am just so tired!!!!!!! Thanks for the thoughts. Be well. xo

The only problem is she doesn't really have friends that would help and family, her sister is in South Carolina, brother in Germany and another sister that just don't visit, and we live in Waynesboro Pa. I'm going back to work tomorrow. Today was a holiday and I had a pretty good day. I walked Chico with a friend for over an hour then I went to the gym for the first time in 4 months. I also had a coffee date with some friends in the late afternoon (of course I can't have coffee due to my stomach ulcer but I had sparkling water.) We sat outside as it was a gorgeous Spring afternoon. Today was a good day although I broke down a couple of times thinking about my dad. I miss him so much. I have been snuggling with Chico of course. He's the best medicine!

Jenn, I would love to meet up with more forum members the only problem is that many of us don't travel well anymore. me included. My wife and I have a 21 year old son who is at university in Victoria BC which is a ten hour drive followed by a 2 hour ferry ride and I used to go out to see him often. I would just jump in the car and drive, now I have to plan for a week to drive to Edmonton which is only three hours away. I am still working on finding the centre or all our locations and hope to be able to find the time soon. Stay well and get your Dad talking!

My daughter is busy working hard and doing all she can to make life easier for me. Doubt she could say she is having a good time!!!!!!!!!I is so lovely to have her here but she leaves again Saturday.:- ( Then I have to try a few days alone than I go in hospital on 7th.
