Hi, Kay. I thank you for your note and hope this is where and how I should reply. Here in France you cannot get aids until something is diagnosed so I am going to batter my doctor into diagnosing SOMETHING. no matter what, so I can get a wheelchair at least. tHOUgh I know a guadraplegic here who had to wait two years for his motorised one.
I need the hugs, and how! Sending them right back, too. I believe it is your husband who has ALS? I still find I cannot believe what is happening to me. Just seems like a v bad dream that will go away. Ditto with my grown up children, who live in other countries. They do not even ask how I am as apparently they find it totally impossible to believe that I, their fit mother, could ever be seriously ill...
