Hi My husband was dx sept 09 symptoms started about 2 to 3 yrs ago, so we are scared. He is 44 I am 51, we are both unemployed, no insurance(but getting great support from ALS clinic) and have 2 teenagers 17 and 15. He may (WILL) get VA benefits, Just having a hard time surviving until our benefits kick in. SSDI should be retroactive from Jan 09, Give us a prayer!
