update from Hank. one year out from limb onset summer of 2015. 4 months out from official diagnosis. mainly my left hand is affected. slow progression. I took part in the clinical trial for the drug Vitality. After 10 days I had side effects that forced me to withdraw. I will be participating in another drug trial soon. I am in the window of less than 2 years since onset that the trials want. I will participate in any trial I can for the good of the ALS community. Effective treatment is on the horizon. We must honor those who came and fought this disease before us and fight the good fight now. ALS research is in high gear. Let's all pray for each other and our families in this fight with us.
