  • Jim, don't be so proud of me -- you embarrass me. There're so many people on this forum that don't have somebody that is willing and able to take them places that they've never been and make memories that they would never have had. I'm just fortunate to have met a man who wants me see it all and remain as active as possible while I can.

You were there for Eddie, I was there for my husband, Ron, and now Tim is here for me. You've heard of the saying "pay it forward"... it works! Have a great Sunday and who knows, maybe I'll see you at the race! :)
    Hey Jim,

just wondering if you saw me wave to you from the race in Phoenix last Sunday? I'm not a race fan but Tim enjoys them and I enjoy the people. Carl Edwards was the driver Tim was rooting for -- so naturally, he wasn't a happy camper! Not to mention the fact that I heard about it for days after the race. :) Guess tomorrow is the big one so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that his driver wins.
GJ, Thank you, I wanted to come to you to tell you thank you. Your explanation on OS was very concise and clear. Thankyou my friend.
Hey Jim , hope you are great today, go have to be great you have been talking to "Ms. Pie" She is always upbeat with little funny words all her own and soooo positive. I admire alot of my friends here just for their attitudes. Ms. notgivingup don't let the "beast" hold her down. Ms. Olly is full of info too. She always post her pictures and makes you feel like family. Edgar was my first friend, when I read his post for the first time, i knew I belonged here, like walking into your childhood house. No matter what is going on with them, mentally and physially they are always willing to help somebody else. Amazing. I feel the man upstairs has a plan, even know it may not be always pretty. Stay strong and positive. Have a great day sopose to be in the 70's here.
    Hey Jim,
Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you. Thanks so much for sharing about Eddie's funeral. Loved the part about the dove flying home. So glad that Eddie is at peace. Hope you and the family are as well.

When you mentioned the dove at Eddies funeral it made me cry and think of my mom. On her urn we picked out is a picture of doves flying and the saying "going home". I hope Eddie and my mom are truly home now.

Thank you for the support Jim. One day.... maybe ONE day... things will be a little easier for me. A girl can hope, cant she? LOL
Jim- I know Eddies visitation was tonight. Just wanted you to know that Im thinking of you. Tomorrow will be rough as well so lots of prayers and well wishes being sent your way.
Yes, that was me Jim. I wanted the general public to know about how special Eddie is to the ALS Forum.
    God bless you!
    Dear Jim,
I'm so sorry to learn of Eddie's passing. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and his family.
Dear Jim, I am saddened and joyed at the same time over the news of Eddie going home to where he belongs. Saddened about the friendship that is now on hold till he is joined by you and the rest of us waiting for that final call to come home. Thank you for sharing with me and giving me a nudge to walk on towards His high calling. Bless you and your Family....(((BIG HUGS)))
    Jim

What a beautiful send off for Eddie, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
