Yes it is. I take the Protein Ensure. 1 to 2 per day. I try to eat a lot and am holding steady at 215 - 216 pounds. I go to the Vanderbilt ALS clinic for the first time tomorrow. My right arm is really weakening on me. Guess it will be the first thing to go....and of course...I am right...

My main concern will be the bathroom. We have just one and it is upstairs. A downstairs bathroom would help a lot. Do you know how helpful they are concerning funding for bathroom additions? I am still waiting for the VA to approve my disability. Hopefully that will come soon. thanks in advance...

The visit was great. Dr Donofrio is very kind and compassionate. Dr Charles Clarke is my co-physician at Vanderbilt. He is great also. By all means get into the ALS Clinic at Vandy. Dr D set it up and from what I hear it is wonderful. I go in Aug for my first visit to the clinic. They have it...
