You were on my heart today. I am praying for you. How are you doing? The thread “Christians here for support” that is under the “other” section is welcoming you! No need to post if you don’t want to. I find it encouraging just to ponder on the word of the Lord.

I am so glad to hear from you. You had me worried, my sister. I know we all think of our families without us, and how they will go on. And you are right, it seems in our own finite mind, that our husbands will somehow lose their way with us gone, but our Father, in His infinite wisdom will take care of them; He will comfort and lead them in the next phase of their lives.

I am so glad Jesus is in our lives, flower. We can rest in Him and know for certain that all our steps are planned of the Lord and He knows our name. It is hard to imagine, Thee God of the universe knows our name and called us to be His very own.

How are you doing? I see you have a PEG and vent. Did this disease start in the bulbar area for you? Are your limbs affected? Are you on hospice?

I am doing pretty good. My arm movement is very slow as well as lifting my legs so Steve [husband] can take my legwarmers, socks and boots off.

I think of you so often and mean to check in on you, but it always seems to be when I am away from the computer. You have been in my prayers daily and yes, I will continue to pray for you. I thank you for remembering me in your prayers.

I am glad your trip went well and it sounds like you are happy with your vent. 46 years of marriage, that is wonderful. I have been married 30 years. I am so sorry for your fall. I had plenty before I surrendered to a rolling walker. I felt I was being presumptuous before the Lord, so I gave in and bought one. It was not bad at all. I think our mind (with the enemy behind it) blows these things out of proportion.

Have you gotten back the Lord’s peace? His presence, peace and hope are my joy every morning. His faithfulness is seen all around us, isn’t it?

Hi Rachael, I have been thinking about you a lot. You are daily in my prayers. I know it is tough having the rug pulled out from under you and the days we once thought we had somewhat control of our lives, leaves us now with days of uncertainty. But look up Rachael! for our God is certain of our tomorrows, even though uncertain to us. He is sovereign and in control like you said. He will keep us safe under His wings. I pray our Lord's presence and peace be your portion today and everyday.

hello again rose i am doing much better with my trach and i am on vent my breathing is much better and i am trying to be postive about everything. i am really blessed i can still walk and move my arms i can still do my own bathroom job my lung is the problem they keep trying to quit working i can't talk ,very little eating,i just taste things i thinking hospice but it is way to early yet but maybe your never ready for hospice i hope you are doing ok i have not firgue out how to im but i am still learning but if you need to talk feel free to text me or leave message
