Of course if we move we could get the bathroom and other rooms adapted with the profits from the sale of our current home. If the right one came available in our daughter's area we would move for sure.

I get fitted for my chair next week. I could use it now, I can't adjust the loaner for my torso height.

Thanks for your reply. I hope you are doing ok with the diagnosed. It is tough but has been a true blessing in so many areas in our lives.
thanks for the info. This will be 2 messages as well - to many chracters

I just went to an MDA ALS ask the expert meeting and found out that I can get an OT to come look at our house. I also asked about bidets and was told that the $80 Home Depot version works well. I know that our local ALSA support group has a bunch that fit a round toilet in their loan closet. That wouldn't work for us since we have an elongated one. The ALSA in our area also will come out to assess our home, but they will only do it 1 time. I wish they would do it 1 time per house!

We are determining if we should stay in our current 2 story home and remodel our small downstairs bathroom. Right now we put our Cal King bed in our small bedroom/den. When we get a hospital bed I am not sure how that will work. Karen wants t sleep in the same room so we need to figure that out.
    Flashdance,

I am a bit slow on figuring out this site. where did you find reviews on bidets and info on bathroom remodels...things I NEED to start looking at...did you just do a search or look thru tip and tricks?

    Thanks so much
