  • Good afternoon, Roderick!
It's a little after 5:00 pm on Sunday evening, here. Is it already "tomorrow" in your world? ;)
    Good Morning David!
I just saw something that said you were 'online' right now. I haven't tried real-time contact before.... Well, it's morning here, which means it must be something else there.
Wodonga is fine David. We are in hilly country and the Murray doesn't have a wide flood plain here. Now and then a few creeks that run through our cilty run a banker, but it doesnt do too much damage. Elsewhere in this state (Victoria) and of course in Queensland the floods have been devastating.

I did read your PM reply actually. I was on holiday and I read it on my phone, so I shall go and find it and respond properly!

Glorious day here again, could get warm in the next week, might crack 40C.

    Blessings!
    David, David!
How's your world looking? We are enjoying a couple of beautiful summer days, but it's unusually cool and pleasant because of all the rain we've had lately. Normally we bake in 100 plus around now. I'm trying to calm down after a couple of terrific weeks away with my family.
    Hope all is well,
    R.
Hi David! How are you doing? You've been too quiet! I hope all is going smoothly, and you've been busy in a good way. Does it take a lot of effort to type? It's an always changing scene, so for me it can be hard one day, then better after a couple of quiet days.
    Ann
Hi David.... It's good to see you "out here" and posting. My husband didn't want to have contact with anyone with ALS or involved with it. I think he would have benefited from the support and friendship - even if they were cyberfriends. Take care.
yes, David. It says "sometimes being first isnt what you expected"
I too was ROTFLMAO when I first saw it.
David, too bad I can't hire you as my "PR Man", because you are always so kind. Your responses are so well thought out and I know you will help so many here. I see below my dear IrisMarie and you are friends. It would be wonderful to be able to "grant a wish", wouldn't it?!!

Oh, I have to confess. I thought a toboggan was the sled with the curled over front. Your picture set me straight, and then I remembered. So... why was the CPO called a "CPO"? Not Chief Petty Officer, is it?
    david are you sure i cannot come and live with you? That is what i yearn for. To live in a fmily, loved..;;
yes you are so right about the joie de vivre but i havae lost zit all . I cry most of the time. There is only so mluch a hujman being can bear and i feel bi havae lost evezrything and nothing is worth living for. excuse the downbeat reply to such a wonderful letter, for which i thank you with all my hearrt. I do not want to die but i cannot bear this institutional life and loss ov freedom. NI love you for you reply. I find it so so hard to accept that there is no escape now, no way back to my lovely home and garden and my so loved dogs; The pain is sharp , too bad to bear in sanity
David, thanks for posting your note--as you would expect, anyone's disappearance is unsettling--and you are already very much within our family, a true VIP in fact! Yes, the visitors and any commotion are exhausting. Enjoy and recover strength as you now relax with the cat! Watching the outside critters from a warm house is delightful.
hi there david . . Dont think we have spoken before . . Just read some of your stuff on the christian forum . . Good stuff . . Hope you are well and looking forward to a prosperous new year . . . God bless . . Alex
