Hi Dalvin,
I think (Coupon Guy or Shawn) is messing with us. Plus, when we give him advice he doesn't listen to a word we say. Everyday, its a different symptom. I think we should start ignoring him totally and make he'll take the advice of doctors. But, that is just my opinion. Kim

Hi Dalvin,
How are you doing lately? My dad who is 79 is staying pretty much at a standstill with his progression lately. He is still in the clinical trial of the drug athatar (sp?). He hasn't had any ill side affects from it. He said he doesn't know if it helps him or not. I think it must be doing some good because he hasn't progressed any while on it. It's not the cure all yet but I truly believe one is on the way.
I am anxious for spring to get here. I am so sick of this winter and all the snow and ice we've been having. I got alot of vacation time built up and I plan on using some this summer just laying in my dad's pool. He has a beautiful pool. He's hoping to make it home at least for awhile this summer. We are trying to find adequate care for him while he's home. Not easy in a small town. Take care, Kim

Diagnosis changed to ALS on Jan 2014. Confirmed by VA Feb.10, 2014

Merry Christmas! How are you doing! I am excited because I am going to see my dad who has ALS on January 2. I haven't seen him since Labor day. He had to move because we couldn't find proper care for him in our town. So, he moved to Dallas, Texas to be near my brother and sister. I miss him so much. Take care, Kim
