I am new to this. Two years ago I became reacquainted with a former friend from high school. Steve is in the advanced stages of ALS. At first I was taken back by what had happened to him but after a very short time I no longer saw the disease but only saw Steve. We realized that it was more than a friendship and after a while it blossomed into a very deep love. On October 20th of this year we got married. Most people think I am out of my mind but in reality I don't care what others think. It is just hard to talk to any of my family and friends about my feelings,fears,and frustrations. I guess I need someone who is going thru what I am to talk to. I hope this is the way
