You can try using a mouth rinse for dry mouth, just make sure what ever she uses doesn't have alcohol in it. Along with that she can use a fluoride gel before bed. Maybe even try a humidifier so the room isn't so dry.*

Yes i agree hospice is your best answer. But if all else fails try to look into a nonprofit organization such and options for independence living... i know we have one called Georgia options (each state has their own) they may help with funding and I know some with also pay the primary caregiver...
I would sugest a hoyer lift, thats what I have had the best luck transfering patients with. It also gives you alot more options where you can use it then one whith a built in track. A little tip when you start looking into them is to make sure the hooks whee the sling hooks on doesn't move...

I would also suggest a mask may be easier. Also even if you don't think he is getting a lot because he can't put his lips around it he is still getting some of it and its better then nothing at all. Good Luck!

I would suggest using the adjustable briefs from like CVS or wallgreens.... the store brand works just fine and saves you money. The adjustable ones would be easier to work with I think.
