  • Hi Beachjc,
I was wondering if you have tried the Magnesium Oxide yet? That is the only thing that my wife is taking for cramps (along with lots of aspirin), and it seems to be helping. I don't know if it will work for you, but it definitely helps her.

Our Dr. has told her that she can take up to 4 pills a day (24hr, period). She usually only takes 3......tries to back off to two, but then she'll get a cramp, and go back to three.......one every 6 hours, excluding the one in the middle of the night.......unless she gets up with a cramp, then she will take that 4th one.

That's the only thing I know right now, however, there is a member, dbltree, who is on some kind of experimental protocol that he claims is working, for him. He's a very nice guy, and would be happy to share that info with you, I'm sure. He just posted his email address in a visitor message to me this morning. Go to my profile page and get it, send him an email, he'll talk to you.

    Good luck,
    Steve
    Hello Beachjc,

I just read back over some of my previous posts.....we get a list of our activity periodically through our regular email (if you haven't received them yet, you will). I noticed where I sounded a bit snippy to you on the 'come for tea' thread one day......I want to apologize for that. I didn't mean to be mean. I was just trying to help direct you to the right place or your questions.

We get (if you have noticed) people who are not really interested in the forum, but are just baiting the members, or so it seems. I have fallen for it a time or two myself. Trying to respond to someone who isn't here for advice, just wanting to upset people who are already dealing with this terrible disease. To me, that is inexcusable!
I can see that you are not one of those people, so again, sorry if I sounded unfriendly to you. I hope you find some answers to your questions, and please do keep asking. There are people here who can and will help.

    Cheers!
    Steve
