Hello Barbie,
Thanks for thinking of me, I am struggling with his moods, sometimes I feel like he is punishing me for being well, especially with some stuff he says. It really bugs me how he can be nice as pie to nurses etc and take his frustrations out on me, and every day, he says about ending his life. Refuses his meds, no anti-dep meds at all, I am trying my best, I really am, but often feel out of my depth with this damn disease.

Wondering how you are and praying for the best. As you know my pals passed aways 6 wks ago and I never thought it could be so rough. It is getting better though through the prayers and kindnesses of church friends and neighbors. God will get you through this. I had been a caregiver for more that 2 yrs. and I have had to re-socialize myself. It is probably like PTSD. The world felt so different when I could just go and do. I just wish she was here to do it with me.

How are things going for you? My dad is getting good care in Dallas through the ALS clinic but is getting weaker. He just got his bi-pap or some type of mask to help him breath better at night. His breathing isn't too bad yet but they said it would help him in the long run. He's been more tired then normal lately. He's wandering if its because of the Ritulek he's taking. He's going to ask the doctor. My dad will be home for a short visit Labor day weekend. Can't wait to see him. Take care and drop a note when you can. Hugs, KiM

All goes well. Krissy's side of the family invited me to a wedding in August, so we're going to Virginia Beach.
Hope your husband's symptoms are getting less painful and less bothersome. Are the boys helping out?

Hi Barbie,
Just stopped by to say Hi! My dad was home for a few days and we had a nice time visiting. He went back to Dallas Saturday. He is a veteran and will be trying Ritulek out since they cover it. He is going to have a caregiver while my sister and her husband work. Very expensive unfortunately. He's also going to have physical, occupational, and speech therapy 3X's a week at my sister's home. The therapist said they will know in a few weeks rather its doing any good or not. Dad called me today and had his first therapy session today. He said they are really going to work him hard. Thanks Barbie, I have another dog too, he is two, but sassy is my baby. How are you hoding up?

Just wanted to see how you are doing, besides Bruce getting much worse, mu precious dog sassy has fell out 4 times in 2 days with her heart. Vet says she is on the only meds they can give her. i have cried all day. Life is so hard
