Hi there. I am not sure if your question was for me....but, I thought I could answer anyway. My son is only 5 and his arms are not that functional. He would press the screen where he shouldn't and have mis-hits. This is why the Dynavox Vmax wasn't good for him. You need to hand control or the ability to use the switch to access your messages. Ours was not the eyemax. The Eyemax is the one we really should be having for him. We have to save up now for the more complex device. If your brother is capable for using his eyes to track objects, the eyemax is great. I can't imagine any issues. Hope that helped. julie
