Hello! How's it going down under? So fun to read your blog and learn more about you and your family! The Lord is working all over the world and it's great to meet Him where He is doing His work--sounds like you are able to do that as you connect through your presence with family and friends--He can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine! We are doing well. Hit a bit of a spell with unconnected nonsense, but sorted that out through talking and prayer (emphasis on the latter). I am in the process of looking at mattress overlays as Jim is very thin and sheepskin for Jim's heels, etc... and at the same time finding ways to be a "fun wife" and not just a caregiver. Have you and "favourite wife" taking some time for yourselves? Have a wonderful day, filled with hope and peace! Blessings to you!

It is secular, but where there is real gratitude expressed, there is spirituality, for a grateful heart is open and appreciative of the goods things in life. I think it is a wonderful expression of the bounty of the Lord.

I forget sometimes that you have an entirely different culture, forgive me. Thanksgiving day is about giving thanks to God for the blessings of the year. It is a feast where family and friends gather around a table full of food, to give thanks for a bountiful harvest.

Wishing you a most Blessed Thanksgiving my friend. May today fill your heart with gratitude for life just the way it is....for family and deep friendships. I love you Roderick.
