  • Alex,
thank you so much for those thoughts. I feel I am quite new to the world of internet-friendship. Untill the past few monts I have used the interned extensivley, but only in communication with friends in the 'real' world. Im beginning to delight in a new form of friendship though, and its a joy to discover how that works. Ive appreciated getting to know you also, and I do hope that we are able to continue on that track. Id like to wish you a Happy New Year also ... Im just feeling a little hesitant about those words! I tend to over-think things a little I think! But I certainly do wish you health, peace and strength. At least on the inside.

    Blessings,
    R.

Wishing you all a Happy and Holy Christmas Alex! *It's just gone past 2am here, and we are back from Midnight Mass in the Anglican Cathedral. *Far from our own style of worship, but striking and deep none the less. Four of my chdren are asleep under our roof tonight, with a fifth due today, so we will have 9 around the table. I haven't anticipated a Christmas as much in years! *
I've noticed how supportive you already are, Alex. You are very reassuring, too. Also, no need at all to feel guilty about posting your symptoms. We're all both giving and receiving help. Bigger hugs back. Ann
Alex, since you haven't yet had an EMG, I'm glad you're hanging around here...sorry for agreeing about that with you, I know... who wants it? Crazy. Well, I have to say I didn't look like a neuromuscular patient, either. Not until much later than the first symptoms. It seems, oddly enough, that folks who are dedicated exercisers are more likely to have this... But, Alex, it is great you can still work and do your job. If you know your EMG date, tell me and I'll have you in prayer. Hugs back--Ann
Alex, do you know why you haven't been given a dx... is there some vital piece of information they're waiting to learn, which you're aware of? Of course, I hope you have a totally treatable problem, but know this must be frustrating beyond belief... So, how is your breathing? Are you holding steady there?
Ann...who wishes you a Happy Christmas and hope you can eat and enjoy the food.
