  • I'll look forward to hearing from you Alex. The lead up to a test always messes with my mind, so I know too well that it's not all that helpful for anyone to say, "Don't be anxious". I just aint that simple! All I can say is I am thinking and praying for you.
    G'day Alex,
I'm really poor at international date lines, so I'm wondering if it's the eighth over there already? Either way I am thinking of you with the test date approaching, and praying for a good outcome. I pray they make a discovery and it's something treatable.
    God bless!
I am doing really well. Just lying in bed after a lovely evening swim, watching American Idol Auditions. They are hilarious. My hubby is hatching some new rare diagnosis, do wish I could look into the future and no what I have? He doesn't want me to have PLS, cause in his experience it's always turned into ALS,. Now he thinks it could be a rare umn hnpp. There you will be none the wiser. Bless you Aly
Hi Alex, thinking of you. Best of luck with your upcoming tests. I hope all goes well for you. Hang in there mate!
    Aly
8th and 11th eh? I'll remember those dates and pray that you find a calm spirit. How do you go when you have something like that coming up? I find it pretty tricky I must say. I'm going fine thanks, but voice troubles are becoming rather more evident. I have little cards with messages for the bus driver now as I cant get loud enough! The aussie floods have been devastating, hard to immagine how peole rebuild life with such loss. We live on the Murray river which is causing havock to the west of us, but where we are it is quite hilly. Just had a picnic on the edge of the largest Dam on the river actually; the water spraying out of the spillway created so much spray that the air was beautifully cool a fair distance away. Superb day.

    Blessings friend, look up!

    Hey Alex,
What's news with you eh? Im back from holodays and settling into the routine of 'normal' life instead of the exhilleration of being away. Normal is a funny old thing though isnt it? Nothing seems all that normal any more! Hope all is well for you,
    R.
Hi Alex, I'm glad you have the date set for the EMG, and please do remind me the day before, will certainly pray. I hope your illness is one that is both treatable and reversible. Good to hear from you always! xo,
    Ann
Hi Alex, I am glad NYE was uneventful. Is there any other kind of work you'd be interested in doing if you had to? You're a natural at helping people and encouraging, Alex. I often see your name at the "Do I?" thread. Usually don't read there--but sometimes I see something and think, OH! I can answer that one! (which is always something of a shock) Too bad we can't hire you to run that thread. You could send the tough ones over to Wright and Co. Now, I confess I do usually read the PLS threads. I always learn something or else howl in laughter. God must pick the PLSers for their sense of humor.

Well, I hope your new year is one that brings you good answers to your questions, Alex. Always a treat to chat,
    Ann...with big hugs
Thanks for the kind words Alex...as Barry say's we are all in this together! take care...Ted
I'd be more than happy to help you, Alex. I'll keep an eye open for it. Take care.
Hi Alex, just wanted let you know that I responded to your post about your update. I asked you a couple of questions about your situation, I hope you dont mind:)
Thanks for the kind note and well-wishes, Alex. You're experience, perspective and willingness to reach out to others on this forum is really quite special. I'm certain that your posts are making a difference for some very frightened and vulnerable folks. Blessings and happy new year!
No, actually I'm fine. Re-reading my message I see what you mean; I was really just thinking about our world's infatuation with happiness! No, I'm good. A couple of hours left in 2010 over here.
    Blessings!
Alex, You are such a kind person. I know you are sharing and helping others so much. Yes, I would think tomorrow is your biggest work night of the year--I hope you don't have anyone being a bother. I wish you a very peace-filled New Year, Alex. With a side order of great contentment!
    Ann, with a hug
