I've been for a while now, actually, the PLS board just doesn't need as much moderating, heh! It is why I've been so quiet, actually. It is hard to find a good balance between expressing your own opinions and things and having the ability to approve or deny others' ability to do the same.

You'd find my mod stamp on many more posts in more contentious forums - DIHALS, research news, etc. I'll PM you about my health, but the summary is that I'm doing ok, nothing I can't handle.

I do that,swallow chunks instead of chewing. If things get bad again I may try botox as my gp suggested.....will have to do both sides to even things out lol.
I'm good considering,dont like to complain.
My travelling days are over,even a 2hr car drive to coast is too much.....I end up like the tin man in wizard of oz lol.

Hi sweetie,just seen your light on. How are you? How is the jaw pain?
I thought mine was going to get bad again last week,had the tell tale signs of tightness in left jaw,around ear and twitching. I took extra baclofen and codine quick smart before it took hold...it worked. We have had a heatwave here in uk past few weeks,very hot but its cooled down now with thunder storms on the way.
How did your trip go? so proud of you for doing that girlfriend.

We had glorious sun last week but it has come cloudy and cool again.......typical english summer lol.
Not up to much,had a few family problems and problem with a nasty neighbour.......stress makes me ill so i am going to avoid it by ignoring the little pests in my life.
Any vacations or a cruise planned this year?

Hi,its good your feeling a little better and able to do things i am so glad.
I am ok,had a bad cold virus the other week thats left me washed out and spasms worse.......but i'm fine n dandy otherwise.......don't like to complain.
Afriend has terminal brain cancer and an uncle with cancer is in his last few days,stopped giving him water and he's sedated.
We have to be thankful for each day we have and what we have.

Sorry i got mixed up with fedup's post,did not realise his numbness was permanant till i went back and reread his post.
I was persuaded to come back but just making a few posts see how things go,the nasty people have left hopefully for good.
Going to get one of those konfidence vests and have another go in the pool when spring comes,i need to try as being inactive all the time makes me so depressed.
Not been able to go out on my scooter for months as we have had terrible rain and floods here in uk since the summer.........including all summer.
Hows your weather,are you able to get out at all with winter here?

Thank you so much for responding to my post. I had gone to the eye doc. I have prescription readers,but vision seems to still be diminishing. I'm sure it is a combo of meds and yes, age. I am also talking with my neurologist about the possibility of HSP. I'm still fighting away.
