Colleen, tried both, and an anti-bird bib, I made him some gaudy shiny bright clown style collars with sequins to try to make him more visible to birds (I kid you not) nothing worked. We're making a tunnel through diningroom window to outdoors crate for him this week. I'm so tired of him trying to dart out the door. And he sits right in the way of the french doors from my bedroom to deck, so its always a matter of trying to push him over, without falling over, to get in and out myself.
