Sailing 4 My chariot beside the boat

See that white post in the picture? That's the crane they use for mast work. We used the sling from my Hoyer lift and extra rope to lift me up and swing me onto the boat. Worked pretty good. First time for crane guy. Me too. Other pics in album should show it.

You inspire me Al! I think of you and others often on the forum. Just heading out with my hubs. My diagnosis is definitely PLS. After having almost died from the Hydrogen Sulfide inhilation from our septic vent being stopped up and me breathing it in, I'm back to the progression of PLS. Lungs are back to normal except when tired. Life is taken at a much slower pace as I walk the tightrope of this disease. Owning our own business we try to support our local ALS chapter as much as possible.

Question....Which Mike died? Is he the one who paints? Just wondering...I always feel sad when I hear one of the PALS bravest dies...Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Big Hug...Frizz

No it was Mike Shirley from Calgary Alberta. I think there are only a few of us oldsters that would remember him. Glad to hear you're not doing to bad. Take care. AL.
